Thambi Vettothi Sundaram Video Songs Hd 1080p is a Tamil film released in 2007. It was produced by MA Raaja under the production banner Sri Siva Enterprises Pvt Ltd. The film stars Sneha, Karthik Muthuraman, Vadivelu. It was written and directed by Adhitya Dharmanath who has also done cinematography for the movie which won the award for Best Film on Family Theme at that year's Vijay Awards. This movie stars Karthik Muthuraman who plays a married man with six children who gets caught up in sales calls everyday but none of his calls are getting through. The character is inspired from the life of two friends who used to listen to such calls and would take those who called seriously. The film was shot in Coimbatore, Tuticorin and Chennai. Owing to the poor quality of infrequent phone lines, many scenes like the one where the man's family meets him at a hotel and he introduces them to his boss were filmed on empty sets. The movie was remade in Hindi as "Purba Swaragini" (2012) starring Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone and Rajit Kapur.. The music was composed by Ilaiyaraaja. Lyrics for all songs were penned by Pa. Vijay. "Kannamma Kannamma" and "Punjai Punjai Kannamma" were sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and "Idhayam Pola Nilaave, Thaaye Thaaye Idhayam Pola Nilaave" was sung by Mahathi.. A critic from The Hindu stated that the movie was a "decent example of how to make a film with limited resources” and added that it “ha s an unmistakable stamp of Adhitya Dharmanath’s style on every frame". The critic added: “The film deals with the almost conventional story of a man and his family and how he wants to spend time with them, but has to suffer the daily grind at the job. But the treatment is fresh, with many twists in the tale, especially when it comes to Karthik’s interactions with his boss who is obsessed with time management." The critic added that “the humour is mainly situational but there are solid one-liners by Vadivelu, who also gets some good situations". A critic quoted:"T S Sundaram aka Thambi Vettothi Sundaram (Karthik) is an interesting businessman. His vice is that he can’t keep his phone switched on. This is because he calls up people who call him, to sell them insurance policies. At last, his job takes him to Chennai. To everyone’s surprise, he calls up an auto driver (Ramesh Kanna) who had called him for an appointment in Tuticorin. That’s how it all started."
